PD Central is the CPS website where you can sign up for professional development classes. The classes are offered at a wide range of locations across the district. Each class you sign up for will give a time and date of the event as well as its location.
To access PD Central go to pdcentral.cps.k12.il.us
Your login and password are the same as with any CPS website.

From here you can search any course by a large selection of choices. There are numerous other menus with information for your particular position.
A search will bring up the class catalog:
You can click on view sections which will tell you which classes are available under that title. Click on any class to view a course.
Click register to come to the Confirm Registration page:
Click on Register for Course to register. You will receive a page telling you that you have joined the class. You can go back to your home page and review which classes you have signed up for under My Classes. You also see who else is in your class by clicking on My Course Details.
